"On September 20th Our Master, David Latham hosted the 2007 Worshipful Company of Joiners and Ceilers Annual Golf Tournament. This year it was held at The Master's home Club; Hadley Wood Golf Club, in Barnet Hertfordshire, and was enjoyed by a goodly number of Liverymen and their Guests. The day proved, in the main, to be kind with the weather and except for a short sharp rain shower, we all remained dry until entering the showers at the end of some splendid golf rounds.

It is always a pity that more of our Liverymen do not partake in this most enjoyable Company function. The course was superb and the exercise and players just exceptional However there is always room for more participants ,so do remember next year to sign up early.

The prizes were donated to the Day by Menzies the Accountancy Firm, and Noma Lights in the person of Past Master Clive Capel, and to them we owe a dept of gratitude, as we do to The Beadle Geoff Ellis for so ably organising the wholes day's festivities.
