The Co-Chairmen of the British Red Cross Christmas Market, Alderman Jeffrey Evans and his wife Juliet, have asked us to contact all Liverymen regarding this year’s Christmas Market.

The Market is held every two years and will next take place on Monday 30 November & Tuesday 1 December 2009. The Market is the charity’s largest London fundraising event and receives tremendous  support from the Livery Companies and the City community: we are delighted that many of the Livery Companies will run stalls again this  year.

Of course the success of the market depends upon the number of visitors and so we have been asked to spread the word to Joiners  in good time so that they can enter these dates in their calendars

We may be obtaining  raffle tickets and fliers for a summer  mailing. The  star raffle prize is two Business Class tickets London/Dubai return with three nights stay at a 5 star hotel.

Can’t carry any more? Relax with a soothing hand and arm massage from one of the British Red Cross therapeutic care team, then sit down and enjoy coffee, lunch or a glass of wine, whilst listening to some of the fantastic live music lined up to entertain you.

 

The Market is enthusiastically supported by a dedicated Committee, co-chaired by Alderman Jeffrey Evans and his wife, Juliet, the City Livery Companies, the HAC, the City of London Corporation and the sponsors, notably Moore Stephens and DLA Piper UK LLP.
