The Company

Welcome to the website of the Worshipful Company of Joiners and Ceilers, one of the medieval Trade Guilds of the City of London.

Our craft is that of joinery - window, doors, architraves and similar - and decorative carving of cornices, ceiling and wall panels and other motifs and crests.

We continue the work of our forebears in setting and maintaining standards and encouraging students and apprentices of all ages in their appreciation and study of these crafts. You can learn more about what we do through our Craft Committee and the Charitable Trust on the following pages.

Please enjoy your visit.
