Court of Livery Dinner In Celebration of St David’s Day at 6.30pm for 7.00pm
The Master and Wardens invite you to attend the Court of Livery Dinner which will be held at Vintners’ Hall, 68 Upper Thames Street, London EC4V 3BJ. Dress will be black tie with neck medals or Livery breast jewels / evening dress equivalent for ladies. The Dinner will be in celebration of St David’s Day.
Vintners’ Hall is a magnificent building in the heart of the City, dating from before the 17th century and is considered the spiritual home of the wine trade. This status is reflected in the beautiful décor with immaculate wood panelling and stunning chandeliers. The evening will be a celebration of St David’s Day to acknowledge the Master’s connection to the Principality with a menu specially devised to showcase Welsh produce. Hailing from Borth, mid-west Wales, we are delighted that Mared Pugh-Evans, official harpist to His Majesty The King, will provide the musical interlude after dinner performing a selection of traditional Welsh folk songs.
