Treasures Evening
The Master would be delighted if you could join him for a private view of the Company’s treasures and historic documents held at The London Archives. The London Archives preserve and share millions of historical manuscripts, maps, photographs, books which tell the story of the City. They look after some 18metres of Joiners and Ceilers material including 34 boxes 5 planfolders and 95 volumes. Hopefully, we will be able to see our Charter and Ordinances and some of the old Court Minute Books which date back to 1679.
The evening will commence with a talk by one of the archivists who will show us some of our historic documents that are kept safely in the Archives. We will then have a tour of the facility and the evening will finish with a glass of wine.
Dress is smart casual with a J&C tie if applicable. Please arrive from 5.30pm for a 6.00pm start and the event should finish around 7.30pm.
